 Post subject: SMP spawn improvements.

I last couple of times I started at spawn i noticed it.
The area north of spawn is ugly and does not make sense to me.
I think this puts of new players:
Therefore I think the following things would improve this
1. Have another look at this part of the map and clean it up a little.
2. A clear direction to sparadise city would help drum roll: a road.
3. An underground part to spawn giving some information:
A mini version of the complete map for ppl to would in and read at signs what shit is.
4. some pixle art to do the same.

sounds ok to me. But nonoice what's your ingame name? i dont think ive ever seen you on there and i spend a fair part of my life there :ugly:

I whole-heartedly agree with your points.

However, on the pixel art thing, the developer was talking about custom imaging on picture frames you can make ingame, which would let us put a map up when it is integrated. A vertical version of what you mean would be huge if we were to put on details. I say we wait until the integration of that IF and only IF he succeeds in doing so. But If you really wanted to make it a billboard or something, I would support and help.

HE hasn't. His company has. He stated that some other dude is working on the other game. Or 2 teams. I don't exactly remember, but either way he is soley Minecraft. Then when both are properly off the ground the whole company (like 7 people) will all work on one solo project, nothing on the side.
