All information in this post is subject to change. This is a temporary topic, which will be changed, cleaned and expanded on in the near future.
Ladies and gentlemen, many of you know of this project that RedFollower and I have been working on for quite some time, and I thought it would be high time to announce it.
The city pictured is the freebuild representation of Salvezza City, capital of Vaginopolus. While the specifics of this city are still being thrown around and planned, the construction is happening right now. This is where the players come in!
If you are interested in attaining a construction job in Salvezza City, you must adhere to the following.
-Be a member or higher on SMP.
-Be able to run Freebuild and SMP simultaneously in order to use the template, or use a similar software (i.e Omen) for the schematics.
-Be known to myself as a trustworthy player as temporary access to the warehouse will be given.
-Be able to transfer perfectly from a schematic to SMP. This means that you need to triple check things to make sure that they are right when you place them, as it is hard to fix things up after they happen in this kind of thing.
-Accept that if you use the opportunity to grief, you will be banished from the Salvezza zone for eternity and a ban to be considered.
Players who do assist in building will be paid generously from the city treasury, managed by Ollieboy, upon completion of a given task.
Instructions to builders
-Sign in to SpecialAttack.net freebuild, preferably with the WoM client active.
-Enter the map SalvLayout using /join SalvLayout.
-Select an available segment to construct. Completed segments will be indicated with green cloth. Segments being worked on will be indicated with yellow cloth, and segments available for construction will be marked with red (along the base of the walls).
[Note: At first, only the walls will be available for construction, but with more planning, more construction will be marked]
[Note: If you are not a veteran+ on freebuild, alert Ollieboy.]
-A price will be negotiated for the construction of the segment, and materials will be provided through the warehouse.
-Sign into SpecialAttack SMP, /warp SalvezzaCity, find your construction segment on the layout and get to work!
[Note: There are some issues with the layout being off. If you are having trouble lining up your work alert Ollieboy who can cut/paste to fix any mistakes. There are also some problems with the area not being clear enough. That will be up to you to clear enough area for your segments to be created]
-Upon completion, request your payment. If your job has been satisfactory your payment will be given.
If building isn't your thing, Salvezza has a few other paying jobs available.
-Salvezza operates a rudamentary mine (which will be improved over time with automated cart systems etc.). This mine needs players mining it for supplies! Players will be paid a small contracters fee, and then be paid for what they dig up. This will be negotiated and defined later.
-Smooth stone is highly sought after. Salvezza will soon have a stone forge building in the Industrial District which will need operators to create copius amount of smooth stone. You will be paid for the amount stone you smelt at a price negotiated later.
-Salvezza has an Obsidian Forge underneath the warehouse. After training on optimal use of this machine, it will need to be operated time and time again in order to supply the large demand for it in city construction.
More jobs will open as the city grows.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is what is available to any willing helpers at the moment. If you are interested in any of this, please post in this thread or contact me directly in game. I will link a tinyURL to this and advertise in game. Your posts will be condensed when I upgrade this thread with proper information when the city is ready for business.

Also, I have a few ideas that I have been throwing around that I would like to post and get opinions/improvements on. I am going to post every idea I have for the city. They will be non-sensical and ridiculous sounding but I'll do it anyway.
-The octogon will have a temple and garden designed by Hafnium. This will be a healing zone.
-The industrial district will comprise of 3 large buildings. The warehouse, a bigass Wool/mob farming (for dyes) factory and city hall-esque thing. Not a pretty town hall, but with city concerned departments in it i.e housing, fine appeals (as per the developing law system) etc. There will also be space for the stone forge, and other production projects players want to embark on.
-There will be a large tree farm to the east of the city, and other farms to the west (which will allow for other shit that Notch might release)
-The houses will be prebuilt, and there will be a range of houses from slum chunks of crap to double story, balcony toting things. These will rage in price and be sold and managed from the housing dept. of the city hall.
-A law system will be in effect. With jailing pointless and stupid, $pA fines will be given per severity of crime. The city will be a murder, theivery and grief free zone, and if players abuse that they will be fined.
-A contract office will operate in the market district. This will be a place where players can go and request a certain # of a certain type or types of items. The contract officer will then define a price for the contract that the player will have to pay to receive the items. Once that is agreed upon, the contract officer will add a sum of money from the city treasury for incentive and players can come along and pick up contracts from there, complete them, place the items in a predetermined chest (given by the contract officer) and be paid.
-A city treasury will be run by Ollieboy, using a wallet-ish program to keep track of expenses, revenue, and total money. A certain amount will be spawned once and be used from there. It will be partitioned to departments of the city, which will be run by players and kept track of in a similar way.
-There will be fall traps at every city entrance that can be activated from gate control rooms, which will also contain gate control itself which are craftbook toggle areas. These gates will be shut at nigh using a craftbook day-checker and will also have a failsafe switch which will cause all gates to shut and be disabled in the event of a raid or something (in the vast future when we have many players and can have battle and shit).
-There will be an out-of-city arena and an out-of-city fortress for residents to flee to in the event of a raid.
There is probably more but that is enough rambling for now.
I would like to apply to be a builder. I'm not on SMP much but if you see me on FB you can tell me to get over there, and I'll be on more. As an upside, with iStick, I can also fix any mistakes almost instantaneously without losing glass/smoothstone/etc.

Yeah that's cool. Both of you go on freebuild and /join SalvLayout and choose a section outlined in red. Try and go with something adjacent to the yellow because the layout is off on SMP. Make sure you replace the red cloth with yellow so I know you have started! I'll make a small box next to the warehouse with supplies in it for you's when and if SMP comes back online before I go to bed..otherwise wait a whole bunch!
I wouldnt mind helping since im incredibly bored with smp right now, so maybe a job that ends in self accomplishment will help me out.
I am able to run both minecrafts at once and I also am a supop.
