Well, now I feel like sharing my story about how I found Minecraft. I don't want to start a new thread, so if you have problems let me know, I'll delete the post or whatnot.
OK Enter Act 1: Scene 1, c. 2009:
I found a review for minecraft on Jayisgames.com, which I frequent for flash games and the like. (Link:

So, the review looked pretty good, I decided to check it out. I signed up, picked a random Multiplayer server, which turned out to be "Redshift's Ocean Build". It turned out to be pretty fun, so I bookmarked "minecraft.net". I spent some time there, fixing random stuff and talking to people. Somewhere along the line, the server became Redshift's Ocean and Lava War. I soon met Redshift himself and whadaya know, one of his ops, Fragmer, who is our friendly fCraft coder! A week or two in, I think the server shut down and I dropped Minecraft in favour of some FPS games.
Act 2: Scene 1, c. April 2010:
My FPS, Crysis, died and everyone stopped playing, so I was stuck doing nothing for a time. Searching through my long list of bookmarks, I randomly clicked Minecraft. I decided to have a go again for boredom's sake and I decided on a server. I found a nice looking one, SpecialAttack.net Freebuild with a decent player count so I decided to join. I saw all these people with funny colour names and I ACTUALLY saw the message that said "Build something cool for builder!". So I set about doing that and HonoluluBoy gave me builder for the random tower I built. I rose through the ranks fairly quickly, thanks to Brewe for Adv and Op, and Spike for recommending me for Super OP. I've stayed ever since, and the rest, as they say, is history.
