The city is a quick walk north along the coastline from the spawn, and also has a place in the Teleport Rune Hub. If you have access to warp, use /warp SpAradiseCity (case sensitive sometimes).
The whole block is zoned for supop, so all supops can automatically lend a hand (but I would still like to take the lead with Leonark on things, so please don't make any lifechanging decisions without consultation). However, if you are less than a supop, you can be whitelisted by request in game or on the forum. All whitelisted players must be dedicated, hardworking, non-griefers (obviously) and builders (this minimum rank will change, and can be excepted on special cases) and depending on amount of help given will be paid at a suitable level of city construction.
There is also an associated warehouse of supplies. Only supops are allowed in the main storage area, but there are chests available for guest usage, which will be periodically emptied to the back area.
The market and residential districts are up for land purchase! Before any is purchased, however, all players AND sup-ops need to read the following moving in guide attatched to this post. The guide was last edited 5/10. This edit included a change to pricing structure making larger areas unaffordable. Maximum block size is 400!
In reference to the zoning in that guide. Use the formula Name(shop/house) e.g !zone OllieboyHouse or LeonarkShop. Set the perms to guest in that zone. The zoning that they pay for is to make it inaccessable (i.e supop permissions with them whitelisted) but the places will need to be zoned prior to player construction.
Also, in reference to zones. STOP ASKING FOR ZONES. Leonark and I decided that as SpAradise was always meant to be the "safe city", it could be zoned in, but otherwise zones should be a MASSIVE privledge as this game is survival. And there is a LOT of zones, very hard to manage. Therefore we have decided to chrage ridiculous amounts for zones outside of the city.

Haha thanks Death. But the first mountain you took down with your extra supplies will probably be turned into a dammed lake or something, so it's not all bad, just annoying for all the damn floating blocks
SomethingAmazing, we have got the most shit and the most remedial job to be done, flattening the land for the city, and making the outside land nice. Leonark and I have constructed a border with signs (some are inside mountains) between which an entirely flat 160x160 grass patch need lie. Then the terrain we busted up needs to look naturally formed more or less. I'm gunna have a dammed lake at some point as well. I will add you to the whitelist when the server it back up.
As was stated in the original smp town threat any work you do will earn you money now how much is not decided yet.
Most of the old thread still counts most of those jobs are needed and we know not everyone wants to dig or build so what ever you contribute you will get payed for that being sayd the more you contribute the more you get payed ofc.
instead of ressurecting a old thread ill rather link it here for you guys to look at.
Not everything there still counts so tread it as a guide instead of rules some things have changed since the original thread.
Everything there is supject to change.
I think I'll help some. Is contributing materials a suitable means of helping? (I don't want to fuck up the city itself by trying to help build it, lol)

I am on the server quite a bit, especially in between classes.
I'm more than happy to help farm materials or even lend a digging hand to help clear out zones.
I've mined and created my own diamond pick axe, shovel and axe, so I don't need / want any handouts.
I'm just looking to be apart of the community you have here, and help construct something as awesome as I think SpAradise city will be.

By all means guys who want to collect, we have a warehouse with a shitload of empty chests! As only supops are allowed in the warehouse though I will set up guest chests that will be periodically emptied into proper storage.
Mumble has always had issues for me, I use Ventrilo, a simlar sort of thing in a client and not in browser. For anyone who can stand an Australian accent that's cool.
