is mint pretty much updated every time ubuntu updates to the next version?
I installed the ubuntu 10.04 LTR on my hp but i always had issues with proprietary drivers and the difficulty of installing such simple things. I know I wont have this problem if I go with building a desktop for my next purchase but should I roll with mint anyway instead of ubuntu? What does ubuntu have that mint doesnt? Are there any disadvantages to using mint as opposed to ubuntu?
sorry for all the questions, but its 4am and my googlemana is depleted :/
@Rico
dont worry hun, I know exactly what youre talking about. :/
My solution is to hide it the best I can whenever I step out the door and throw up facebook to block specialattack and terminal or cmd from sight when stupid boys are over

iknow! ^^
like a mac and linux did it hot and sweaty one night, hm?
and the product was some sort of matte, transparent, jello-ey-jiggly substance...
edit: PlanPlan, in my opinion, you should always dual-boot Windows. That's just my opinion. Start using linux again. It'll make you smarter, but always keep Windows handy. You never know when you'll need it.
