I'm not looking forward to any games in particular - especially not the ones bOse mentioned since he seems to have just compiled a list of the titles that are hyped the most and more often than not these games don't live up to the expectations their own marketing campaigns have raised astronomically. Not to mention that being led by hype can spoil my journalistic objectivity. (Ha, ha - you should see and hear the bullshit developers offer on press conferences including "bribes" like expensive food, gadgets and whatnot - you have to learn to ignore it or interpret certain set expressions correctly.)

I'd rather be surprised by a relatively unknown title which turns out to be very original and cool and makes a lot of money just because of its awesomeness.

As to indie games I'm looking forward to Braid, Fez, Crayon Physics Deluxe and World of Goo (the last one I have already preordered).

Brütal Legend! - I love metal and Tim Schafer's games, perfect match.
Left 4 Dead - Just looks fun.
A Vampire Story - If it ever comes out.
Tekken 6 - I love me some Tekken.
Little Big Planet - they'd have to do something major to fuck this one up.

Oh yeah, A Vampyre Story - forgot about that one. It seems as if it might be an even better comeback for witty and funny adventure games a la Lucasarts than the big return of Sam & Max.

Of course it will come out - this year - the devs said it on the official forums and they even had a mostly functional preview version last fall... Their major problem seems to be finding a publisher - they had to switch like thrice but I think they'll be OK with Ascaron now...

It's true that Tim Schafer is a friggin' genius as well. I'll send a commando of assassin hamsters after everybody who hasn't played or bought Psychonauts - just like Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw... It almost ended up being a failure despite very good reviews and lots of awards until Double Fine switched to digital channels like Steam (thanks, Valve! You always appreciate the brilliant underdogs =)... It's a pity that Brütal Legend is only coming out on consoles... I guess it's because of the problems with publishing and marketing Psychonauts...
