Nawww nucleus is really easy because people are wandering around alone all the time, where as viaduct is one big orgy.

i don't care if you started it or not, plus i can see who wrote the original post, that's not the point at all.

played viaduct today, had some great spy moments, like walking up to some tortoise and shooting them in the head (cause the razorback is infact a big post-it note). Plus taking out a lot of engys guns and other toys. had a good time as scout too.

perhaps you have only had bad games because the teams were unbalanced. The map design is simple, and both teams have equal opportunity to play the game mode if the teams aren't completely unbalanced. And again, if you have some decent spies.

i think typo definitley had a good idea if it is at all possible to implement, may avoid some tears.

Gah I don't care, I don't play lots of public anymore. I have given my reasons as to why it's crap, they are proper practical reasons (no one has given any practical reasons as to why it's good), and I'm pretty sure any decent sniper will find it easy to hardly ever die on it. People will get bored of it eventually.

Viaduct is only win in melee only.

And yeah mini's map does look sorta like two fort, except it lacks the multiple levels, the bridge, the base, the 3 choke points, and the flag. Oh wait it didn't look like it.

To be honest I don't really like any of the new maps that have been added recently but I'm happy to have them there as the big problem for me is the endless repetition of the same cart based dirges stuck in round 1 over and over and over and OH GOD MAKE IT STOP!

Tpyo for once maybe completely right and limiting the time these maps run for would work well. Just enough time to break up the monotony (nobody tell him I said he was right though).

melee is awesome on viaduct. but in general it is just fun, and i like to have fun as any class on it.

At the moment KOTH maps are only single capture until mapchange, maybe it could be increased to 2 or best of 3 rounds ( ~15 minutes of playtime )? 2 map loads for 4 minutes playing is certainly not a good solution, especially for people with slower pc.

I agree 2 rounds would be better, KOTH can sometimes be very close and exciting so a rematch is nice.

It was and is a little wierd to play 4 to a max 7 minute a map, even if sometimes is quite intense :P

Aye needs to be 3 again, a koth map lasts for ~ 3-6 minutes therefore 2 match ups of the maximum time is still only pushing ~6-12 minutes ( not counting overtime). A map has gotta last a good 15-20 minutes imo.

so basically 3 rounds on a koth map can only really last, 9 minutes minimum (give or take).

Can we change this back please, all i hear now is people on the server moaning that the rounds are too short or they jsut waited, so minutes to load the map just to have it end a minute later and they have to reload the next map (not me, but i listen to the public community and the comments they have during a game).

i mean what was the point in this. this game type doesnt last as long as a normal cp map and after 3 wins its over anyway.

please change it back.

cool thanks, cause for those that enjoy any of the koth maps and game mode its a bit harsh we only get 1 round and that we can't buy koth maps either i dont think.

had really good viaduct and nucleus games today, whole PIE did, viaduct wasnt a spam fest, both teams captured the middle point and the snipers were certainly getting a battering, (dead ringer is incredibly effective at annoying the crap out of people and causing mass confusion) but sadly ended after one round, can we get this sorted cause it makes me upset to hear all the loyal pubbies moaning that they are not getting a full games worth.
